The Discover Boating Atlanta Boat Show is the BEST place to compare and shop hundreds of new boats. The region’s longest-running boating event features everything needed for water adventures – from big sales on the latest in power boats and pontoons to personal watercraft, marine electronics and accessories, plus fun and education for all ages. For four days in January, the Georgia World Congress Center transforms into the state’s biggest boating marketplace and a nautical oasis to start planning and thinking about warmer days on the water.

Show Features & Highlights:
  • BOATS!Hundreds of the latest boats and personal watercraft all under one roof with dozens of marinas and manufacturers represented. There’s simply no better place to browse and shop for boats than the Atlanta Boat Show; every boat is NMMA-Certified.
  • Lake Life Lounge – Launched last year, this new gathering spot is the place to dive into the boat life, complete with live music, specialty food and beverages, and a host of nautical activities for all ages, including:
    • NEW! Surfing Simulator – The surf’s UP with this new Show feature. Ride the waves like you own them or ‘Hang 10’ like a pro. Take a ride on the new virtual reality Surfing Simulator and see what it feels like to catch a wave. Ages 13+.
    • Kids’ Zone: Featuring a NEW ball pit for kids to dive into and face painting!
  • Thursday ‘$5 After 5’ – Admission is only $5 after 5 p.m. on Jan. 11 (note: $5 tickets are available online and onsite after 5 p.m. on 1/11).
  • Education & Seminars – From fly fishing, boating, sailing, charters, and sonar technology to celestial navigation, check out the wide range of educational offerings from pros, open to all experience levels.
  • Let’s Go Fishing – It’s back! A 5,000-gallon tank filled with bass where pro anglers show off their fishing and casting skills and share insights. See how fish react to different fishing techniques, baits, and lures and get the inside track from experienced anglers.
  • Fred’s Shed How-To Center, presented by Progressive Insurance® The most popular destination for all things boating. Tips and DIY advice for every level of boater. Learn from experts how to handle any boat or engine challenge you might be facing.
  • Career Day – Interested in a marine career? On Friday, Jan. 12, talk to marine industry professionals and find out what skills and training you’ll need to join a growing workforce making waves.
  • Family Day – Grab the kids and head to the Show on Sunday, Jan. 14, for Family Day! Family Day Pass ($28) is good for two adults and two children and is only available for purchase online.
  • Nautical Story Hour with Books to Kids, a program sponsored by Atlanta News First, donates books to local elementary schools. On Saturday and Sunday, bring a new or gently used children’s book to donate to the program and get a $5 food voucher to enjoy during your time at the Show.
